Summary: If you thought that 1932's "Freaks" wasn't nearly boring and/or tedious enough, have we got a show for you! So sit back, lower a couple standards, and watch this by-the-numbers retelling of that story.

History: Jade Cochran was a down on her luck sort of gal working at a diner with next to no real future in sight. However, that changes when a promotor for a local carnival comes over and suggests she come along. Seeing something out of this, Jade accepted...and pretty much struck a brown note with everyone there. The freaks (nothing special, just midgets and fire-spitters and the like) especially felt offended.

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: Tired of Jade treating them like dirt, the freaks come at her with cutlasses in mouth/hand. The results are shown the next day, as they have transformed her into a hideous she-freak. Oh, THERE'S the titular monster we were looking for!

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-Jade cannot really do much, having been reduced to a lobotomized beast. But golly gee, what a beast they turned her into! It's no Cleopatra, but the wolf/reptile thing they reduced her too looks both painful and ferocious. The other freaks are just regular people in retrospect.

Trivia: -Jade's actress, Claire Brennen, met dwarfism-having actor and famous stuntman Felix Silla on the set of this movie, and the two had a secret relationship for 9 years onwards, even conceiving a son.

-The reason for the decline in freak shows despite their popularity in the early 20th century was that the growing amount of recognition for those with disabilities and dysfunctions made those shows look tone-deaf and irresponsible. More modern ones, rare as they are, make more of a show about how different equals beautiful.
